As a high quality after school program, Citizen Schools California partners with middle schools to increase opportunity and set a permanent path for high needs students to graduate high school, become college and career ready, and connect to real world learning experiences.
We are nearly 70 staff at seven schools serving over 650 students. We are also hundreds of volunteers sharing our passions and skills with the next generation. We are numerous individual, foundation, corporate, district, and government supporters. Lastly, we are an essential part of an education reform and service movement, including the Citizen Schools national network of 37 schools, 4,400 students, and thousands of volunteers.
