About Citizen Schools
As a high quality extended day program,
Citizen Schools California partners with middle schools to increase
opportunity and set a permanent path for students to
graduate high school, become college and career ready, and connect to
the real world through hands-on learning experiences.
We are nearly 70 staff
serving over 636 students. Citizen Schools is also hundreds of volunteers sharing
their passions and skills with the next generation. We have numerous
individual, foundation, corporate, district, and government
supporters. Lastly, we are an essential part of an education reform
and service movement, including the Citizen Schools national network of
37 schools, 4,400 students, and thousands of volunteers.
